Blue Mountain

At a height of more than 1,300 meters, this park is a vast territory filled with crisp mountain air, gardens that glow with autumn color, and sandstone valleys. It is a place where waterfalls splash on huge rocks and little towns are made of timber and stone. The Blue Mountains earned their name from the distinctive and deep hue of blue haze not found in any other parts of the world. This effect is caused by scattered rays of light coming in contact with fine dust particles and droplets of oil dispersed from the eucalyptus trees in the valleys.

There are many wild kangaroos in the national park. But, they will run away when you are trying to close to them... So can you imagine how fast I need to run to capture their picture?

Tale of Three Sisters -

Katoomba, Blue Mountains Katoomba is the largest town in the Blue Mountains and is home to the famous Three Sisters. Legend has it that they were three beautiful young women who had fallen in love with three men from an Aboriginal tribe from the foothills. Tribal lore prohibited the union, and a battle ensued. A witchdoctor turned the women to stone so they wouldn’t be harmed, but he was killed and no one could undo the spell. They are impressive.

But, what I heard from the tour guide, is another legend of the Three Sisters. Dunno which one is the true...

The Three Sisters

Normally tourists are choosing the Blue Mountain Tour by hopping on the cable car or taking a ride on the scenic railway down the steepest railway incline in the world to the floor of the Jamison Valley. But I chose the bushwalking tours that have a chance to trek into the forest instead of taking the skyway for a scenic journey. An experience into real mountain life...

The amazing Wentworth Falls is the main highlight of this area. It is a blend of cascades and free falling water rupturing the serenity of the bush. During winter times, sprays of water blow into the valley beyond bringing fresh and cool air to the atmosphere. This is definitely the perfect place to escape from the adversity of a cosmopolitan city lifestyle.

Sydney 悉尼

Sydney is the largest city in Australia. Every traveller will never miss the chance to see the Sydney's Opera House and Harbourfront Bridge. And, I am the one of the travellers too.

I took an internal flight from Gold Coast to Sydney. For sure I have to book a dorm bed from a backpacker hostel in advance but not much choices for late check in due to the night flight. Normally you are able to get discount for long stay (eg. 3 nights + free 1 night). Remember to keep your receipt to claim for the shuttle bus/cap from airport to the hostel because normally they will provide the free pickup services. Please note that there is no shuttle bus services in the domestic airport in the night time. I was not able to take the shuttle bus because of mis-comunicated with the hostel staff. So, I need to take the train service to the hostel without any receipt because train ticket must be return to get out from the station. But, luckily I still manage to keep the ticket to claim. Why? come and ask me k? :P

Which location is the best panaromic view? Walk along the Botanic Garden seaside and you will see it! Remember to wait for the sunset if you are free because it is another different view.

The Royal Botanic Gardens is a place of natural beauty, where people come for peace, relaxation, education, and to learn more about plants and horticulture. The surrounding is full of colourful, fresh air, and relaxing garden. There was a wedding ceremony with spectacular harbour views during my visit. The new couple is happy with the romantic venue on the special day. I sent them my best wishes from my heart......
