The Cathedral Cave

对于时间观念很差的人, 往往觉得时间不够用.

我, 也常常觉得时间不够用.

是理想太大, 梦想太多, 计划太复杂吗?

有人说, 要控制时间, 必然先学会规划时间, 锁定目标, 向前冲去.只要目标清晰, 不要三心二意, 一步一步来, 总会走到最后的.

我, 当然也希望能一步一个脚印, 慢慢地, 一路走去......

The Cathedral Caves, which situated just off the Southern Scenic Route at the northern end of Waipati beach, south of Tautuku are a series of sea caves on the Catlins Coast in New Zealand.

The caves are only accessible 2 hours either side of low tide. So please check for the low tide time and check for the cave is open for public or not depending on sea condition before heading to the Cathedral Caves. We were waited for 3 days only able to go for the amazing cave. But, of course we arranged to go for other signhseeing while waiting the access to be open safely.

The Curio Bay backpacker, which I forgot the name of the backpacker. If anybody know it, please let me know k? because I love it so much!
Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful...... come with a good view from the window of the hostel, which face the sea directly. Clean, tidy, and comfortable...... come with freedom that giving by the owner because there is nobody to look after the hostel. We got to write down our name on the white board outside the door if there is any bed available and the owner/staff will only come in during the check in time daily.

I was so lucky to enjoy the good sleep there and there was nobody at all during my visit except us. So, of course I cooked a very delicious dinner slowly and followed by grilling my fries on that night because no more rushing or sharing with others. Looks, my dinner...... yummy yummy......

The Curio Bay area is also a protected nesting ground for yellow-eyed penguins and Hector's dolphins playing in the surf can be seen during the summer and autumn.

Curio Bay is one of only three such accessible fossil forests in the world. It is stunning 180-million-year-old Jurassic forest.

The fossil remains you see here have been here for more than 180 millions years. So Let's keep it that way here, where they belong!
